What the petition asks
Kaveh Ghandizadeh Dezfuli, an Iranian musician, has been living in the UK since 2010. He has fully assimilated and integrated into British society. Since living in London, Mr Dezfuli has performed with prominent Iranian dissident musicians.
These performances have been broadcast on Manoto TV & BBC Persia which has led to him being in danger of persecution should he return to Iran. Mr Dezfuli presented this evidence at the Home Office's Capital Building in Liverpool on the 15th December 2015. The evidence was NOT read, but rather, he was detained in a detention centre in Manchester that night. He is currently in Morton Hall Detention Centre in Lincolnshire. He has now been informed that he will be removed by the 20th January 2016.
