Petition · past parliament

Stop using taxpayers' money to subsidize the House of Commons bar.

Closed 1,466 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the government to end taxpayer subsidies for the House of Commons bars and restaurants

This is completely unacceptable when we are being told to "live within our means". There is no need for these subsidies whatsoever. MPs can afford their own food and drink on their £70,000+ salaries.
