What the petition asks
On May 3rd 1830 Robert Cory built the Acle straight road which is now the A47 the entrance to the town of Great Yarmouth but sadly over the years this road has never been up dated to its full proper potential,Many people have lost their lives on this road,it should have been dualled many years ago.
Robert Cory built this road to open up Great Yarmouth as the new railways had arrived in Great Yarmouth,he also built The Great Yarmouth Suspension Bridge which sadly ended in disaster in1845, But the intension of this road was to help Great Yarmouth Town but as the years went by this road has now become a burden to the town, no help from the government to duall it, false promises, lack of funds, excuse after excuse and now the people and town of Great Yarmouth have had enough of been forgotten.
