What the petition asks
Removing the second fire engine and retained crew from Oakham Fire Station will mean slower response times to emergencies, which will have a significant impact, putting life and property at greater risk in Rutland and surrounding areas. The removal of the fire engine is to take place on 31/03/16.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
