Emboss braille onto money in the UK
Rejected
16 signatures
What the petition asks
I want to make it easier for the blind to access physical money in our country. It would make the lives of myself and so many others so much easier when living with sight loss.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Bank notes are the responsibility of the Bank of England, which is independent of the Government and Parliament. If you would like braille to be used on bank notes, you could make this suggestion to the Bank. You can find out more about bank notes here:

If you would like braille to be used on coins, we could accept a petition about that.
