Gateshead Council’s cabinet will launch a consultation on proposals to place the running of in-house home care and supported living services into the private sector, should councillors approve recommendations on Tuesday.
Gateshead Council’s cabinet will launch a consultation on proposals to place the running of in-house home care and supported living services into the private sector, should councillors approve recommendations on Tuesday.
Patients receiving end of life care, dementia sufferers and people who have suffer from Parkinsons, multiple sclerosis or who have had a stroke, are among those who could be affected by any potential change in care providers.
Private care makes profits out of death.
