Stop NHS funding abortion.

Closed 2,842 signatures

What the petition asks

91% of all UK abortions are funded by the NHS, which in turn is funded by British Taxpayers.
The NHS spends approximately £1 million a week on repeat abortion for those who seek abortion as a means of contraception. This money could be spent on women, children's and ante-/post-natel services.
Science tells us that life begins at conception: 'Human life begins at fertilisation, the process in which a male gamete or sperm unites with a female gamers or oocyte (ovum) to form a single cell called a zygote. This highly specialised, totipotent cell marked the beginning of each of us as a unique individual.' ' A zygote is the beginning of an new human being (i.e., an embryo).' K.L. Moore. The Deveoping Human: Clinically Orientated Embryology. 7th Edition, 2003. pp. 16,2
