What the petition asks
The Chancellor will announce reforms to pension tax relief in March.
- A Pension-ISA approach would undermine confidence and should be rejected
- A single rate of tax relief should be cost neutral, not a raid on savers
- Tax-free lump sums must be protected
- Retain salary sacrifice arrangements

The Chancellor's proposals for pension tax relief will be scrutinised by Parliament. However the announcement itself will set the terms of the debate and Parliament should have the opportunity to specifically address the significant issues before the Chancellor responds to the consultation.
