What the petition asks
Cot green has been within the community's estate since the houses were built in 1951 and the greenery has been used to host a wide range of party's, community gatherings as well as where the children can play safely.
There have been many objections for the building of 6x 2 bedroom houses on the greenery within the estate,
There are many reasons why we need this land to stay free, one of these reasons is that it's only greenery where children are able to play safely without being in danger of any passing cars or busy main roads.
The nearest field that would be left is across the car riddled B4281 which is a very dangerous place to have children crossing to get to the nearest play area.
