My pre-assessment was minimal and vague,I was told that the procedure was simple and i would walk out within 24 hours.
I was never informed of the nerve, blood vessel and bladder injury that could and did occur.

I have an anatomy and medical back ground,and i have spent 7 years studying POP. Pelvic Organ Prolapse.
Many women, and men have been injured with these devices, which are made of plastic.
My concern is that these devices have been inserted willy-nilly.
Direction,planning and pre-assessment of the patient is paramount before inserting any device.
