What the petition asks
My Father is 93 years old and suffers with dementia. His meals on wheels are a lifeline, he really looks forward to them and the people who deliver them. (He has to pay) Government cut backs mean they have to stop.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Meals on wheels services are run by local councils.
You could raise your issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them:

We could accept a petition calling on the UK Government to provide funding specifically to support meals on wheels services across the country.
