What the petition asks
Hythe Town Council wants to lease or sell for £1 the Hythe Green all 6.7 hectares, to Shepway District Council, for the construction of a large leisure centre which will take up a quarter of the site.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
