What the petition asks

The House of Commons should urge Wrexham County Borough Council to overturn forthwith the hurried decision made by its Executive Board to demolish the remaining buildings on the Groves site in Wrexham.

The House should note that this decision was made without consultation with the people of Wrexham or any other interested parties, and request that the Council sets out in detail its proposals for the site,gives due notice of a timetable for consideration of the future of the site and carries out, in accordance with its Constitution, a full consultation with all interested parties and then, having considered the views expressed in the consultation, makes a decision as to the future of the site.
