Implement speed reducing and traffic calming controls in lidsing, Kent me7

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

Lidsing is a small hamlet on the border of Maidstone and Medway councils. Lidsing over the past years has seen huge increases in traffic. With single lane country roads and a 60 mph speed limit. The increased traffic and the speed limit is inappropriate for the area.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Traffic control measures are the responsibility of your local council.
