What the petition asks

would like to see a new campaign asking people to report crimes no matter how big or small and also outline what the Emergency number 999 is used for and Non Emergency number 101 is used for as there is confusion with the public about this, also to educate children against crime and consequences,

I am co-ordinator of a Facebook page called DN35 CRIMEWATCH, we have over 4100 members within this area, this is a page where all residents can alert others of what is happening in their area, also ask to identify people from CCTV footage, also they report all crime that has happened in the area on there, we then advise accordingly and always promote reporting to police , and are against vigilante groups also the page has become a place where we have learned that no-one has faith in the police .
