What the petition asks
Rail companies are de staffing the railways in order to maximise profits for their shareholders at the expense of their staff & passengers. We need to stop this greed & keep trains & stations safe, manned so the safe & good service you require is paramount. Train jobs but Your safety!
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to ensure that all rail franchises include a commitment to retain guards on passenger trains.
