What the petition asks
A public enquiry has found evidence of Russian State involvement in the murder of Alexander Litvinenko. Parliament should amend the Broadcasting Act so licences of media directed by a foreign State (such as "RT") are revoked if that State is identified as having sponsored criminal acts in the UK.
A public enquiry has found that there is "strong circumstantial evidence" of Russian State involvement in the murder of Alexander Litvinenko. States that sponsor murder in the UK should not be permitted to influence UK public opinion by broadcasting here. Parliament should amend the Broadcasting Act so the broadcasting licences of media directed by a foreign State (including "RT") are revoked if that State is identified as having committed/sponsored criminal acts in the UK by a court/inquiry."
