Let MP's speak freely about the negotiations and Leave EU

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the PM to let MP's speak freely about the negotiations with the EU and the vote to LEAVE EU. The Country nominated and voted for MP's and they must represent our views freely and fairly and not be silenced by the PM.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We are not sure what specific action you would like the Government or Parliament to take. The Prime Minister cannot prevent either MPs who are not in the Government (MPs from other partieis or backbenchers from his own party) from expressing their views on the EU.

If you would like Cabinet Ministers to be allowed to campaign freely, you could sign this petition:

Allow members of the Cabinet to campaign freely on the EU referendum vote.
