What the petition asks
Myself and many others can not afford to take holidays outside of term time, But still we take them as its still cheaper to except the fine. This only goes to show that Regulation 2006 is ill-founded and does not solve the real problem of regular truancy.
As a parent I only have my children's best interest at heart, as do many other parents with working society how it is 24 hours a day 7 days a week family time is just as important to improve concentration and to de-stress (children included).
Could you also address why this regulation does not cover the private school sector, and only penalize the working class.
We are not asking much just some family time at a price we can afford.
If you agree with this patition please sign THANK YOU.
