Major planning proposals/applications part of conveyancing searches.

What the petition asks
To ensure any major planning proposals/applications show up in searches carried out by solicitors in conveyancing matters, enabling potential buyers to be aware of how their home/land/business may be affected in the future.
The people of Gravesham and Thurrock have recently entered into the first consultation phase of a major new roadworks connecting Kent to Essex. The consultation phase is short, therefore not giving residents opposed to the new infrastructure time to get opposing arguments together. Thurrock is already one the most polluted boroughs in the UK. Some residents have already been pre-warned their properties/land may be subject to CPOs and others will be left looking at 'spaghetti junction'.
