Move prostitutes from Yarm road to industrial estate and crack down on punters

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

I live just off Yarm Road in Stockton on Tees, and I am sick to death of the amount of working girls on Yarm road. My husband cannot go to the local shop in his car or works van without being approached, even when my 5 year old is in car with him.
In the past I have seen them stood on the street corners at 12pm taking my daughter to nursery. I understand they are going to do it, I just don't think they should be able to do it in a residential area. I feel unsafe walking on Yarm road past 5pm, and have seen/heard so many vicious fights, so has my daughter. This needs to stop.
