What the petition asks
We need this money to provide suitable and cost effective training and match facilities for all grass root teams.
This is a national issues and massively frustrates all coaches, managers and volunteers.

The new TV deal is worth £5 BILLION to the Premier League teams. To put this into context they could allow all supporters to attend every game for free and still be no worse off than they are now.
If we could take just £1 billion of this money we should be able to provide more than enough artificial pitches to support all grass roots teams. Even if each pitch cost £1 million then we could provide a million of these if required.
Grass roots football is what makes the game what it is.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a decision for the Premier League.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to provide funding for grass roots football teams.
