Residential Care Home, Rules, Regulations and Legislation.

There needs to be an independent organisation that can represent the residents and their families of Residential care, a governing body where complaints from residents and family can be investigated neutrally, as it stands all complaints raised are dealt with internally by the Residential home and in serious complex cases this is not acceptable, no residential home is going to admit fault. The majority of people are not even aware that they don’t fall under the same rules and regulations, they just assume they are because it is a care setting.
