Investigate Conservative Government for putting their Party ahead of UK
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
The Conservative Government to be investigated for putting the Conservative Party ahead of the well-being of all UK citizens; due to the vast majority of the Government Cuts "relief fund" to be given to Conservative-controlled Councils. This is not representative of the needs of the country.
We call for an independent investigation to look at what would be a fair division of the funds for any Government Cuts “relief fund” and then to find out how the Conservative Government could justify the current division of funds (83% expected to go to Conservative-controlled Councils) from an ethical standpoint and a legal standpoint.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition as it relates to the Conservative Party, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could submit a new petition calling for an independent review of the recent local government finance settlement.
