Make the details of bids for public sector provision in the NHS public.

What the petition asks

Alliance Medical recently won a contract to provide Cancer Screening services in North West England, despite bidding £7,000,000 (£7 Million) more than an NHS department.

We cannot see the details of the respective bids because of "Commercial Confidentiality".
Where taxpayers money is involved, commercial confidentiality must not be allowed to override public interest. Taxes make us NHS consumers and we don't expect to buy products or services 'blind'.
Organisations bidding for Public Sector contracts cannoy hide behind the excuse of commercial confidentiality

Full details of Public contracts, especially the NHS, must be subject to public scrutiny. Please sign this petition to ensure that we as taxpayers get the services we pay for.
