What the petition asks
Law states you must obey all speed limits and signs. As people use motorways alot to travel to university and from small towns to big citites and have to take long way roundnot fair on new restricted 45mph drivers to take long way and waste desiel and petrol it's very cheap but still costly.
Have seen R drivers on NI motorways obeying the law and sticking to 45mph and have seen other R drivers doing the speed limit 70mph required by law which is correct. Not 45mph left lane only.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Your petition is about something that the Northern Ireland Assembly is responsible for. That means that the UK Government and Parliament can't look into it.
