Review ticket prices in the Football League
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Fans outside of the Premier League are paying extortionate prices in order to watch the game we all love. The government should intervene with supposed "lower league" clubs and make football accessible to all.
Leeds United fans are paying a minimum of £28 for a home tie against relegation bound Bolton. An unacceptable pricing strategy considering the level of football.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We cannot accept your petition as the pricing of tickets for football matches is a matter for the clubs themselves rather than the UK Government or Parliament.
