Stop the roadworks at Junction 13 on the M65
Rejected

What the petition asks
New road works have been started to add traffic lights to the roundabout at J13 on the M65, these are not needed. This roundabout works perfectly for 23 hours a day and is busy during 'rush hour'. Adding traffic lights will add to the waiting time for the whole day, which is not needed.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. While junctions 1-10 of the M65 are managed by the Highways Agency, junctions 10-14 are managed by Lancashire County Council.
