Ban all premium rate phone numbers for local and national Government services

What the petition asks
The DWP have announced that their benefits helpline will be an 0345 number which will cost up to 12p/minute from landlines and up to 45p/minute from mobiles after pledging in 2013 to abolish premium rate numbers for their services.
This means that a typical 40 minute phone call would cost £18 from a mobile phone. Local and national Government must not target those who are most in need of help and make assistance easily available to those who need it.
