What the petition asks

Several models of tumble dryer have been identified as dangerous with a fire risk owing to a design fault.

On registering your appliance, this beginning in December 2015, you receive notification that a modification repair may not be able to be carried out for 3 - 6 months.

If you cannot wait for the repair which most people with young families cannot because of the risk, then you are being offered 2 replacement options at a cost to individuals of £99/£50 respectively.
