Petition · past parliament
All British Passport holders should be eligible to vote in the EU referendum
Rejected

What the petition asks
The upcoming EU referendum will have a significant effect on British Citizens where ever they live whether in the UK or in Europe for example. An exit could have profound changes for everybody, with the repercussions for an exit unclear.
Although the effects of an exit from the EU are unclear, the UK pound is already suffering, and the Scottish first minister has stated another referendum on Scottish Independence would be likely. With the potential impact therefore severe economic uncertainty, global isolation, and a disintegration of the UK, every UK passport should have the right to have their view counted. This is democracy
