What the petition asks
Current law states:
Low stakes poker is permitted in pubs so long as stakes are kept to a maximum of £5 per player with a £100 total pot per premises per day
Low stakes poker in social clubs with the correct gaming permit allows a maximum of £10 per player £250 total pot per premises per day

Low stakes poker in social clubs with the correct gaming permit allows a maximum of £10 per player £250 total pot per premises per day
We are petitioning to change this law to the following:
Low stakes poker to be permitted in pubs with stakes kept to: £10 Maximum per player with no maximum pot, in social clubs: £20 maximum per player no maximum pot (modify the gaming permit licence)
stake limits should now be raised as inflation no longer reflects the old limits set in the gambling act 2005 and maximum pots size unrestricted
We believe that this change to the law would also benefit all UK pubs who are struggling to survive
