What the petition asks

NHS professionals is publicly owned and is said to be running at a profit of 8 million pounds. Our hospitals rely heavily upon this agency to safely staff our hospitals with key medical staff such as nurses and doctors. This is yet another branch of our NHS currently being reported as under threat

If this organisation is running at a profit of 8 million pounds per year what justification can there be for this? Surely in the longer term this will cost our NHS more money for the same or similar service and it is an organisation which is crucial to the safe staffing of our hospitals.
