What the petition asks
Supermarkets and producers should be held accountable for the amount of waste that is produced.
Most items in stores have more than one type of package covering the product. This needs to change, there needs to be stricter packaging laws and more recyclable packaging.

Our landfills are overflowing and litter is a major problem.
We need to become more responsible consumers, demand more recyclable packaging and or less packaging of products eg: the pears that are in trays and plastic covers.
There is a serious problem with waste and litter and it is ruining our countryside. One only needs to look outside when driving along the roads to see the growing problem.
