What the petition asks
Parliamentary debates are often disrupted by members interrupting those attempting to speak in Parliament.
We ask Parliament to consider enforcing a strict professional and respectful working atmosphere on all Parliamentary sessions and debates.

Protocol should dictate that members speak only when invited to by the speaker and all statements to be addressed via the speaker.
Should sufficient offenders disrupt sessions and be expelled that the session is rendered pointless, sessions should be suspended and held at a later date, forcing the function of parliament to rely on good behaviour.
Enforcement of the rules should lie with the speaker. If the speaker is unable to maintain order, they should be subject to disciplinary procedures.
