What the petition asks

Asthma is a very common respiratory condition causing difficulty in breathing. Asthma can be very dangerous, I have know people to die from Asthma attacks. There have often been occasions where I have had to attend hospital or had a sever asthma attack due to not being able to afford an Inhaler.
Asthma UK states that there are 5.4 million people with asthma in the UK, which means asthma affects one in every 11 people and one in five households.

For a quarter of a million people with severe asthma, even climbing the stairs can feel like a marathon, never mind going outside their home.

In 2014 (most recent data available) 1216 people died from asthma.

People who suffer from diabetes do not have to pay for insulin.

Asthma is a long term condition.

Should not have to pay to breathe/
