What the petition asks

Banning the use of a naturally growing plant seems draconian and giving people a criminal record who need it for medical reasons is not right, by the uk banning it's use the black market is able to generate millions from its sale and that money probably is used to fund terrorism

In Amsterdam the use and sale of cannabis is toloreated within special shops called coffee shops, it's a safe place for people to use the drug and to buy the drug without being exposed to "hard" drugs such as cocaine and heroin - also the cannabis in Amsterdam is of a higher quality and therefore safer to consume than black market cannabis which could be sprayed with any number of chemicals and/or sprayed with glass to bulk up its weight prior to sale

Drug dealers are not concerned with health
