What the petition asks
There is no form of income support for prescriptions for people suffering with long term mental illness mental illness in the long term can have the same debilitating effects as physical impairments and can make you unfit for work so people who suffer with mental illness should get help to pay
To get free prescriptions you need to be; 60 or over, under 16, be 16-18 and in fulltime education, have a MatEx certificate, have a MedEx certificate or you receive either: Income Support, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, or Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
