What the petition asks
With one of the hottest Winters on record it is ever more clear that our climate is changing, Affecting the environment. What can we do to prevent it? We must educate future generations on how to sustain a clean environment and the importance of energy conservation, consumption and waste management.
Data collected by NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration showed that the global average temperature was 0.13C warmer than 2014. Meanwhile the UK's Met Office confirmed that 2015 was 0.75C warmer than the long-term average from 1961 to 1990.
In 2015, warming reached 1C above pre-Industrial levels for the first time. It's clear that the time we have left to prevent warming from reaching above 2C over pre-Industrial levels is ticking away.
Act before it is too late.
