Improve healthcare and remove gender inequality by removing VAT on tampons.

What the petition asks
Tampons are "a luxury item" for VAT. Women unable to afford tampons every month are at risk of infection, which puts more strain on the NHS. Women do not have a choice about having a period. Tampons are a necessity and should not be subject to a discriminatory tax.
