Stop Iain Duncan Smith From Victimising The Sick And The Vulnerable

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Suicide statistics amongst the disabled are rising, and the disabled have never been so vulnerable as now. We need to stop the rot and tell this government that enough is enough!
Disabled people across the British Isles are being shunted off much-needed DLA and being refused PIP. People with disabilities are not "second class" citizens, and do not deserve to be suffering due to a power-hungry, megalomaniac government. They are human beings, just as healthy people are, and they are quickly losing their financial lifelines due to IDS and Cameron. This must stop, and it must stop now. It is breaching the human rights of disabled people nationwide.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. You could start a petition calling on the Government to change its policies and increase the benefits available to disabled people.
