What the petition asks
I rent private as I have a son with mental health so when my daughter was born 10 years ago I did not want him sharing a room with her so this is why , we loved our private rented house but 2 years ago had an attempted burglary where they held my eldest son at knife point and beat his mate up
We moved into our house after living with my mum for 7 weeks to raise money for this house as council wouldn't help and now i can't live here cause my eldest son has moved out and the rent is so high my son has such bad anxiety as you can imagine with the ordeal we had 2 years ago and has not helped with his mental illness we just want our forever home and to feel safe again may I add I was told 10 years ago I would be waiting 12 years for a 3 bedroom house so this is why I went private
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
