Enforce minimum wage salary to reflect hours worked in motor sales industry.

What the petition asks
Stop slave driving in the motor industry. Commonly sales commissioned jobs, most employers will pay a basic salary which does not meet the national minimum wage.
i.e. 45 plus working hours per week a sales man or woman will be expected to work for a set salary. The short fall can be £600-700, which they are expected to make up with commissions but due to poor unregulated commission structures it can be sometimes hard.
The minimum wage keeps getting increased but the sales industry for the motor trade is being left behind. A fair enforced national minimum waged salary should be the minimum legal requirement which should reflect how many hours they work.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
All employers are already required to pay the National Minimum Wage to people who work in commission based jobs, including in motor sales.
