Introduce Meat Free Mondays once a fortnight to Haringey schools

The methane emissions created by the meat industry are monumental and contribute greatly to climate change producing 1/5 of greenhouse gas emissions globally, more than all forms of transport put together. By making a small change in what we eat as a collective we can help the environment.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The responsibility for food in schools is either the responsibility of your local council or the individual school (depending upon the type of school).
