What the petition asks
It's largely written about in media and social blogs that teaching is one of the most stressful jobs of today. Whilst the personal and academic needs of young people, and the measurable success of schools, are demanded and pressurised, the health and well being of staff seems to diminish.
This petition has been proposed to emphasise the need for a long term solution for the drop out rates of new teachers, the number of medical absences as a result of stress or depression and the many untold stories of teachers who battle on with the mounting pressure and challenge that teaching brings everyday.
