Change the law on train fines
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Train companies are taking advantage of the fine system. Just recently I had a fine even tho I had the money in hand to buy a ticket, I was then treated like a common criminal. People up and down the UK are getting the same treatment and it needs to stop. fine the actual dodgers not the payers
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. For example your petition does not set out what change in the law you would like to see. You could start a petition calling for a specific action/change in the law in relation to train fines.
