What the petition asks

"The Speaker of the House of Commons chairs debates in the Commons chamber. During debates they keep order.."
The current speaker has shown gross incompetence. Laughing openly as the elected leader of the opposition is unable to speak. The British public require competent adults in our service.

This is unacceptable and shameful behaviour. The growing discontent with the childish and immature nature of politicians in the House of Commons is frustrated when the office of the Speaker is abused. It is his role to prevent exactly this embarrassing waste of our precious time and funds. We require his immediate resignation and replacement with a person who is able to hold the house to order and command a serious adult debate. Enough is enough.

Why it was rejected
