What the petition asks
Royal Mail are wanting to take all Delivery Offices out of Tameside and merged with offices outside Tameside, which means traveling over Five miles for the public to pick their post up.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is an operational decision for Royal Mail, which has been privatised. You could raise this issue directly with Royal Mail itself.
