What the petition asks
My daughter recently had her drink spiked, she was taken to hospital by ambulance and escorted by police, she was in a bad way but never got a blood test as a&e was busy, the police could not bring criminal charges against the person responsible as there was no evidence without a blood test
My daughter and others before her have unknowingly through spiking taken drugs which have had a traumatic and sometimes fatal consequences. Efforts should be made to stop or deter perpitraitors from committing this act. Police stated that a blood test would have confirmed what she had in her system and there fore charge the person with grevious bodily harm. drug spiking is a serious issue and is increasingly being used as a tool to incapacitate victims for rape or other hideous crimes.
