Mps should learn to live within their means. Stop MPs expenses.

What the petition asks
Recently the conservative party has targeted the sick and disabled to focus their cuts on. I would rather tax payers money went to help people who are sick, disabled, or have cancer than be wasted on MPs expenses.
Why are we paying your mortgages while there are working families have to rely on food banks? Why are we subsidized your boozy lunch breaks while pensions can't afford heating! It's time that MPs learn to live within their means!
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament don’t have the power to set MPs’ pay or expenses. That power was given by Parliament to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) in 2010, so that after 2012 MPs no longer had control over their own pay or expenses.
